Unit: 8 Personal Confirmatory Study in Art, Design and Media

Final Portfolio Assessment: 25th June 2018
In this unit, we are free to decide on what medium and project we want to do. We have to decide on our idea and produce SOI that idetifies what our project is, what skills we gained throughout the course so far, what research we are going to undertake as well as the experimentation we are going to produce. It also needs to show how we gonna ehibit and evaluate our work as well as present our development throughout the whole project.
During unit 8, we ave to produce a portfolio which will include:
- in depth research (written and visual as well as primary and secondary)
- shedule
- experimentation
- evidence of work which is then anotated and evaluated
- complited handouts from group work
- evidences of tutorials
- final outcome (in an exhibition setting)
- final evaluation and anotation of the final outcome
- bibliogrpahy
21st June - exhibition
The achived results in unit 8 will determine the overall grade for the qualification
Possible grade:
1. Pass
2. Merit
3. Distinction
The difference between the grade is based on the depth of research, level of work, creativity of experimenation and level of analyse and evaluation of the produced work.
